Founded in 1997, Coreworx technology was driven by the requirements of organizations heavily involved in capital projects, particularly among North Sea oil projects in the late 1980s. Coreworx recognized that “corporate” systems were ill-suited to the project environment – where every project had unique contractual and regulatory requirements – and developed a dynamic software solution that enabled companies designing and constructing large-scale capital projects to address their document control and automation needs.

Acquired by Acorn Energy in 2008, Coreworx Inc. joins a growing portfolio of companies
that leverage advanced technologies to transform the existing energy infrastructure.
