Ray Simonson, Chief
Executive Officer
Ray brings a deep technology expertise in enterprise development with a proven serial entrepreneurial approach to Coreworx. His skills complement the strengths in the rest of the executive team in developing, managing and growing mid stage technology firms to a profitable exit. As a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a 28 year of track record in mission critical enterprise technology, Ray brings a wealth of experience and skills to the management team at Coreworx. He has consistently demonstrated an ability to manage delivery and development of mission critical applications in key sectors. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of CheckFree i-Solutions from 2000 to 2004. In 1996, he co-founded Bluegill Technologies. As Chief Technology Officer, he assembled and led the development of the first XML-based internet billing application. The market success of this product led to the acquisition of Bluegill by CheckFree. Prior to his experience with Bluegill and CheckFree, Ray was in a series of senior roles focused on delivering mission critical IT systems primarily in banking and insurance, with a deep expertise in enterprise content management and web application development.

John Gillberry, EVP and CFO
John is a seasoned senior executive
with a track record spanning nearly two decades of success with particular
expertise in managing the finance and operations of venture capital backed
enterprises. He has successfully completed complex transactions including
mergers, acquisitions, cross-border business arrangements and international
business agreements and has held a variety of senior roles ranging from Vice
President CEO at a variety of leading firms including G.A. Finance, RCA
Corporation, General Electric, Thomson SA, Radiant Energy Corporation and
Newcourt Credit Group. A successful entrepreneur in his own right, John was the
founder and president of Bayfield Capital Group, a specialized corporate finance
advisory firm providing expertise in areas of mergers, acquisitions, asset based
lending solutions, capital acquisition and other growth strategies which may
take advantage of non-traditional or equity financing. John sits on several
Boards of both public and private corporations and is active in local and
community non-profit organizations. He holds a Masters Degree in Business
Administration from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

John A. Moore, Director and Chief Executive Officer, Acorn Energy
John has been a director and Chief Executive Officer of our Acorn Energy since March 2006. He also serves as a director of Voltaix and as Chairman of Optimer, Inc. He was previously a Director of Comverge and served on its IPO committee. He serves on the Advisory Council of EnerTech Capital a $350 million energy technology fund. Mr. Moore was formerly President and founder of Edson Moore Healthcare Ventures, a $150 million biotechnology holding company. At the same time he was Chairman and EVP of ImaRx Therapeutics and Chairman of Elite Pharmaceuticals.

Hal Davis, Director of Strategy, Acorn Energy
Hal was founder and CEO of BlueGill Technologies. Founded in 1996, the company grew to dominate the Internet billing software industry and was sold to CheckFree for $250,000,000 in early 2000. Previous to BlueGill, Hal held executive positions at technology companies including Interface Systems (acquired by Tumbleweed Communications), KMS Fusion, and Covalent Technology, Inc.
Hal is an active community volunteer focused on environmental issues and performing arts. He serves on the board of numerous corporations and non-profit organizations including Janeeva Inc., Spirit Shop, Arboretum Ventures, University Musical Society, The Ark, and the Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. Hal received his MBA from the University of Michigan.
