USEC reports $58.5 million net income for 2009

The company anticipates approximately $2 billion in revenue for 2010 and stated that spending on the American Centrifuge project will be dependent on additional capital and DOE loan guarantees. "We had a solid year of delivering low enriched uranium for our nuclear utility customers. Our operations were strong and total revenue exceeded $2 billion for the first time," said John Welch, USEC CEO. "We maintained our superior record of delivering the nuclear fuel that is essential to our customers, on time and on specification."
