Coreworx Oncore™ is the first project cost management solution to enable vertical cost visibility of an entire project from field to back-office. Oncore provides high volume real-time cost capture, validation, approvals, and reporting and analysis; Oncore tracks labor, materials, equipment and other costs for capital and operations/maintenance projects by line item.

Coreworx Oncore provides robust analysis for complex calculations such as comparative contractor performance, and makes all information available in real-time. Coreworx Oncore is the translator between project and the accounting world.

Position Summary
As a member of the Coreworx Inc. documentation group, the successful candidate will work in our Calgary AB office to produce documentation for users, administrators, and others who use Coreworx Oncore products to manage their information and documents.

Reporting to the Manager, Documentation, you will work to deliver the highest-quality documentation with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain clear and concise reference and user documentation in various formats and in compliance with internal standards.
  • Develop relationships within cross-functional departments, interface with members of the development and QA teams.
  • Create and maintain product documentation and Online Help for end users.
  • Analyze and understand product features, technical specifications, and user interfaces.
  • Complete tasks on time.
  • Edit and provide quality assurance on all documentation and Online Help projects.

Essential Skills

  • The successful candidate should have these essential skills and qualifications:
  • Related Post-Secondary education (computer science or professional writing).
  • 4+ years experience in the field of technical communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills (verbal and written) and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines on multiple projects.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience writing user, administrative, and developer documentation for complex software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to work simultaneously on multiple complex, technical projects with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, research, and writing skills.
  • Solid understanding of software development and the Agile process.
  • Superior proofreading and editorial skills.
  • Proficiency with authoring tools, such as FrameMaker, Microsoft Office, RoboHelp, Camtasia or Captivate, standard graphics tools, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of structured writing and Information Mapping concepts.
