Coreworx Inc. is headquartered in Kitchener-Waterloo, and is looking for individuals to join our team in the role of Software Quality Assurance Specialist – testing our software as part of the software development process.

Position Summary
Are you passionate about product quality? We are seeking Software Quality Specialists with enterprise level web application experience and interested in ensuring product quality in a Microsoft oriented development environment. As a member of the QA team, the candidate will be involved in all facets of the software quality and development lifecycle. Successful candidates will become part of an effective software team using an agile development methodology and Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio 2008 Team Server, .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0. C#, IIS, as well as SQL Server and Oracle data bases. Coreworx is a flexible service-oriented enterprise Web application built on a scalable layered architecture with robust security, auditing, and logging capabilities The Software QA Specialist will work with software developers, product management, support staff, and customers in the service of quality and performance of our Web-based products. Quality Assurance is vital to the success of our company.


 Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and execute tests against products.
• Analyze and report on product test results.
• Review product documentation and collateral as assigned.
• Create and maintain test documentation such as test plans and test reports.
• Identify and clearly document errors and inconsistencies in the functionality, usability, and performance of the products.
• Communicate product and process information to members of the QA team and the organization as necessary.
• Perform statistical analysis on test results.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Engineering or a minimum of two years of structured software testing experience with enterprise software.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2008 Team Server, .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0. C#, IIS, as well as SQL Server and Oracle data bases.
• Experience in an agile development environment.
•   Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytic skills.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
