Ray Simonson - Chief Executive Officer

Ray brings a deep technology expertise in enterprise development with a proven serial entrepreneurial approach to Coreworx. His skills complement the strengths in the rest of the executive team in developing, managing and growing mid stage technology firms to a profitable exit. As a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a 28 year of track record in mission critical enterprise technology, Ray brings a wealth of experience and skills to the management team at Coreworx. He has consistently demonstrated an ability to manage delivery and development of mission critical applications in key sectors. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of CheckFree i-Solutions from 2000 to 2004. In 1996, he co-founded Bluegill Technologies. As Chief Technology Officer, he assembled and led the development of the first XML-based internet billing application. The market success of this product led to the acquisition of Bluegill by CheckFree. Prior to his experience with Bluegill and CheckFree, Ray was in a series of senior roles focused on delivering mission critical IT systems primarily in banking and insurance, with a deep expertise in enterprise content management and web application development. J.Paul Haynes - P.Eng., Chief Operating Officer

J leads the sales, services and software development teams at Coreworx. With over 20 years in leadership roles in the software industry, J complements the executive team with his engineering and energy sector backgrounds. Prior to joining Coreworx, J was a Managing Partner at Omazo Ventures which focuses on developing early stage software firms in the enterprise B2B segment. Before Omazo, J lead Medshare through rapid growth which included financing, team building and strategic growth planning. He was previously President & CEO of ECM vendor, EVER America Corporation, which was acquired by Versa in February, 2006. A serial entrepreneur, J founded his first venture in 1988 which developed software to securely publish, store and deliver engineering documents for the energy sector and was ultimately acquired by Enbridge. Through the course of its growth, it won many awards including Deloitte´s Fast 55. Always maintaining a balance between technical and sales and marketing strategy, Mr. Haynes successfully evolved his organization and raised multiple rounds of capital, orchestrated several M&A transactions including taking a division public. Mr. Haynes has presented at numerous industry conferences in North America and abroad covering energy sector software to enterprise content management. Mr. Haynes holds a B.Sc and M.Sc. in Alternate Energy Engineering, is a founding Director of Acetech and is a professional engineer.

Nick Clemenzi, BBA, CA - Chief Financial Officer

Nick is a meticulous, results-oriented business executive, with over 20 years of progressive experience at all levels of finance. During his career, Nick has developed management information systems, ISO 9001 quality assurance programs and cost reduction initiatives, has negotiated long-term contracts and business acquisitions, and has managed all aspects of financial and management reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting. He has also been involved in securing equity capital in excess of $20 million and over $30 million in project financing for investments in power plant projects. Prior to leaving his financial and management consulting practice to join Coreworx in August 2009, Nick was VP Finance & CFO of MedcomSoft Inc., a TSX-listed company and developer of software solutions, for eight years; held various controllership positions at Toromont Industries Ltd., a TSX-listed company, over a six  year period within its Toromont Energy Services group and with one of its subsidiary companies, Toromont Energy Ltd., who were constructors, operators and, in certain cases, owners, of power generation facilities; and was an Audit Manager with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, Chartered Accountants over a six year period.

Erik Van der Ahe - Senior VP, Products and Services

With extensive experience in management, professional services, product development, product management, business development, product architecture, technical support and consulting Erik has successfully built teams and products in high growth competitive environments spanning 20 years. As part of Executive Management Erik provided corporate guidance at Equitrac which employed over 250 individuals. Prior to that Erik held increasingly senior roles at CheckFree i-Solutions culminating in his role as VP, Client Services where he developed several customer focused implementation programs.

Brett Shellhammer - Senior VP, Marketing

Brett Shellhammer brings more than 20 years of experience in the Enterprise Software business leading product development and marketing teams. Brett's expertise is focused not only on building great products but on aligning the marketing, sales and services activities around product lines to build successful organizations. Most recently Brett was SVP of Product Management at Eloqua. Prior to that Brett spent seven years at Open Text where he was VP & General Manager of the Global 2000 & Government Business Unit, which accounted for over US$ 100M in software license revenue annually.  Brett came to OpenText in 2001 through the acquisition of iVenturi in San Francisco where Brett was President & COO. Brett's other executive management experience includes CampSix, an internet incubator where he was SVP of Product Management; NativeMinds (now part of Autonomy) where he was VP of Marketing and Update.com, a CRM software company in Austria where he was VP of Product Management. Brett has been a senior product manager at Oracle Corp, a technology evangelist at Taligent, Inc. and a technical product manager at Rational Software Corporation. Brett started his career as a software engineer at IBM after finishing his BS degree in Computer Science at The Pennsylvania State University.

Joseph Fernando Bacigalupo, MBA, MPEC - VP, Latin America & Caribbean

Dedicated to ensuring that Coreworx's customers receive the highest level of service both directly and indirectly through its international business partners, Joe Bacigalupo is responsible for increasing the company's leadership in the Latin America & Caribbean region. Mr. Bacigalupo's professional experience includes leadership roles at organizations such as Primavera Systems, i2 Technologies, Impress Software, Cisco Systems, and Ericsson. He has over 20 years of experience and a track record of success in building new markets in the Oil & Gas, Utilities, Petrochemicals, and Telecommunications industries in both the US and Latin America. Joe brings his proven ability in international operations and business development, project management, developing & managing international channels & alliances, and management consulting. He is a multilingual, innovative and energetic leader, and is committed to customer satisfaction. Mr. Bacigalupo holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, an M.B.A. in General Management, and a Graduate Marketing Certification from Southern Methodist University. In addition, he has a Graduate Certification in Professional & Executive Coaching (M.P.E.C.) from the College of Executive Coaching.

Brent Williams - VP Global Alliances

Brent Williams brings to Coreworx over 25 years of experience with increasingly senior roles in Product Development, Project Delivery, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Business Development for complex solutions in North American Energy Markets. Brent's experience in Metering Communication, Mobile Workforce Management, Sub-Station Automation technologies and Call Centre, Billing and Meter Data Management "Software-as-a-Service" models was gained while working for a wide range of organizations including Ontario Hydro, Schlumberger, Enbridge and Checkfree.  Most recently, as part of Olameter's Senior Management Team, Brent helped define the overall direction and oversaw execution of the company's "Software-as-a-Service" technology vision, strategy and implementation plan.

Paul Harapiak, P.Eng. - Chief Architect

With over 23 years of software development experience including 10 years as a Senior Architect, Paul comes armed with a wealth of knowledge to help drive Coreworx' success. As Chief Architect at Checkfree i-Solutions and Senior Software Architect at Sandvine, Paul is a thought leader that has proven his ability to mature early stage technology into viable solutions. With a clear vision and the talent to motivate and manage teams in an Agile environment he played a pivotal role at BlueGill Technologies in taking a product from concept to commercial success leading to its $250 million purchase by Checkfree.

Kevin Thomson - Director of Software Development

Kevin is a senior information technology leader with an exceptional balance of technical knowledge and effective leadership experience. He has a track record of success in managing the development of enterprise applications for mission-critical business functions. With a combination of superior technical acumen and effective personnel management expertise, Kevin helps drive the growth and success of Coreworx Inc.’s software development organization. Prior to joining Coreworx in 2007, Kevin was the Director of Engineering for NCR Payment solutions, where he managed development, QA, documentation, training and the support organizations with a combined operating budget of $25M. Over the last 20 years, Kevin has held a series of successively senior positions first with Mutual Life/Clarica and then with CheckFree iSolutions, managing the software development and client services.

Paul Sunderland, P.Eng. - Director Solutions Consulting

Paul Sunderland holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario and is armed with over 30 years of management experience gained working at Bell Canada, Rogers Telecom,  AT&T Canada, and Coreworx Inc. His extensive experience has included leadership positions in Consulting, Engineering, Project Management and Operations. At Coreworx, Paul focuses on helping businesses address their unique project information needs. He has worked closely with Fluor, Chevron, J. Ray McDermott, Husky, BHP Billiton, CP Mining and US Enrichment Corporation to understand and successfully capture their business processes; share the industry best practices we have gained over the years and; optimize the value for each customer of the Coreworx' Project Information Control solution.
